Overtly, it's about a diner, but the way it is sung makes it sound kind of creepy. Like a fire burned down the diner and the people trapped inside were all killed so their spirits inhabit the burnt remains for eternity, forever serving and eating.
I don't see where you get it burning down from and all that, but I've been to D's and its pretty good. But its never burnt down or anything its just a little building in Sebastopol.
