Prologue Lyrics

We're gonna be laughing about this.
We're gonna be dancing around.
It's gonna be so good now.
It's gonna be so good.

Oh so exciting!
Mmm go on and on.
Every time you leave us
So Summer will be gone,
So you'll never grow old to us.
It's gonna be so good now.
It's gonna be so good.
Can you see the lark ascending?
What a lovely afternoon.

Oh so romantic,
Swept me off my feet.
Like some kind of magic.
Like the light in Italy
Lost its way across the sea...

Roma Roma mia
Tesoro mio, bella
Pieno di sole luce
Bali cozi bene, bene
Pianissimo
Pianissimo

What a lovely afternoon.
What a lovely afternoon.
Oh will you come with us
To find the song
Of the oil and the brush?

I don't think a song could be more beautiful than this.

i tried translating the italian: My Rome Roma
My treasure, beautiful
Full of sun light
(Bali cozi) well, well
quiet quiet

this may be wildey inaccurate but i tried. not sure what bali cozi means.

she actually says bellicose pronounced Beli cozi which means having or showing a ready disposition to fight so you could say an expressive ( no literal translation) could be My Rome Rome My darling, beautiful Full sun then to light such a contentious nature ok , ok be gentle be gentle

( she says a few more things in Italian before Pieno di sole luce but i cant make it out

the whole of 'A sky of honey' just epitomises the beautiful, long English summer evening to me. By the coast or in the countryside you can feel the special quality of the light and hear the birdsong that is so obvious in summer. Beautiful.

That should probably be "belle cosi", beautiful things.
