Belly Love Lyrics
I've got a fire in my belly,
I'm gonna take it, and get it on telly
And tell the whole world how I feel about you
'Cause I've been wrong so many times
This world hurts 'cause I'm not of your kind
Tell me how to live without glee on my sleeve
But, ooh mister, tell me what life's like for you
And ooh sister, how do I live like you?
*Whistle*
I'm gonna take it, and get it on telly
And tell the whole world how I feel about you
This world hurts 'cause I'm not of your kind
Tell me how to live without glee on my sleeve
And ooh sister, how do I live like you?

im suprised nobdy has commented, this song is amazing! i think its about a person who is lonely/depressed/unhappy about something they lost and never got over and are asking people who are living their lives how to live like them
I don't think he's necessarily depressed, I think this guy just really wears his heart on his sleeve. He's so excited about being in love that he wants to tell everyone about it ("get it on telly") and when the romance doesn't work out EVERYONE knows (probably because he can't hide his sadness either). So when he sings "'cause I'm not of your kind / Tell me how to live without glee on my sleeve", he's saying that he feels everything so passionately that he can't be guarded about his feelings like other people can be (like the "mister" and "sister"). I love the whistle. Great song.
He is in love, and it does not seem to work out between them, so he wonders how people manage to live their seemingly perfect lives. Sweet song.
love it
eeeeep this is such a under appreciated song! It's so catchy and the few lyrics make it all the more affective. I wish they'd put it on their new album. I love them.
