Girl Up The Stairs Lyrics
There's a girl up the stairs
Green eyes and lemon hair
I wonder if there's something there
She keeps her clothes on the floor
A padlock on her door
It keeps out all of the bad people
I wonder if there's something I could wear
To make her think that I was all that
Late at night she passed my door
Continued past my floor
I'm hoping for something more
There's a park at the end of the street
Where she runs and goes to read
Beyond the highway signs
And underneath all the concrete
But I can tell the way she feels
Just by looking
Might give her the keys to my appartment
Hell I might even offer to pay the rent
That'll be all right
Hoo-ooo-oo
Hoo-ooo-oo-oo...
Green eyes and lemon hair
I wonder if there's something there
A padlock on her door
It keeps out all of the bad people
To make her think that I was all that
Continued past my floor
I'm hoping for something more
Where she runs and goes to read
Beyond the highway signs
And underneath all the concrete
Just by looking
Hell I might even offer to pay the rent
Hoo-ooo-oo-oo...

Ok, so I looked all over the web for Two Hours Traffis lyrics and realized there were none. So what better to do than to put some in. I love this song so much, it's my favorite from the album. It's just so soothing in a simple way. About, obviously, the girl next door. My favorite line is "Beyond the highway signs and underneath all the concrete." Because it makes me think of the park I go to to getaway whenever I need to.
AMMY!! ITS SAMMMYY!!! wassuuupp!!
Andy wrote it for his now-fiancee. I guess it worked haha
