There's a girl up the stairs
Green eyes and lemon hair
I wonder if there's something there

She keeps her clothes on the floor
A padlock on her door
It keeps out all of the bad people

I wonder if there's something I could wear
To make her think that I was all that

Late at night she passed my door
Continued past my floor
I'm hoping for something more

There's a park at the end of the street
Where she runs and goes to read
Beyond the highway signs
And underneath all the concrete

But I can tell the way she feels
Just by looking

Might give her the keys to my appartment
Hell I might even offer to pay the rent

That'll be all right

General CommentOk, so I looked all over the web for Two Hours Traffis lyrics and realized there were none. So what better to do than to put some in.
I love this song so much, it's my favorite from the album.
It's just so soothing in a simple way.
About, obviously, the girl next door.
My favorite line is "Beyond the highway signs and underneath all the concrete." Because it makes me think of the park I go to to getaway whenever I need to.
