Kill The Turkey Lyrics
kill the turkey, shoot him down
pluck his feathers, make him ground
make burgers
kill the cow, slit his throat
let him bleed, make steaks
make burgers, good to eat
Kill the beast who took our dirt
oh, black gold...but if you want it bad enough, oh if you want it bad enough
keep your eyes on the prize x4
Kiss the clever one who said "you made your bed, now lie in it, die in it" Kiss the shit that hit the fan when you went and killed another man
but if you want it bad enough, oh if you want it bad enough
keep your eyes on the prize x4
pluck his feathers, make him ground
make burgers
kill the cow, slit his throat
let him bleed, make steaks
make burgers, good to eat
oh, black gold...but if you want it bad enough, oh if you want it bad enough
keep your eyes on the prize x4
but if you want it bad enough, oh if you want it bad enough
keep your eyes on the prize x4

just in time for thanksgiving!
This song actually IS about the war in Iraq/George Bush. I've met her a bunch of times, and she was pretty annoyed when I assumed she was a vegeterian.
I think this is about the war in Iraq. Like... kill the beast (Saddam) who took our dirt oh black gold (oil). you know. but maybe I'm reading to far into it. :)
fabulous i think the "keep your eyes on the prize" is maybe meant sarcastically, as in people think it's ok to act a certain way (badly) because it's what they want to do, and they are ok with themselves acting wrongly
The song to me means people back stabbing someone. This song reminds me of the people I somehow call my friends. Which is upsetting, but that's besides the point. This is just how I see the song, people hating someone for no reason.
uhm...i think maybe it means like.. you wouldn't kill another person, so don't kill animals...? kinda like that 'don't pirate dvd' commercial on movies and stuff.. haha i don't know haha i'm probably wrong though (:
If you want something go for it and 'if you want it bad enough keep your eyes on the prize.' Don't give up, because whether what you want is good or bad, the world can kill animals, kill people, take one anothers land, and get away with it then so can you.
this song was written sattyrically. in this world people are more concerned with what happens to themselves rather than things around them. many are unaware of the harm they do by being selfish and destructive. i agree with ringsontreetrunks about the whole "black gold". yeah, oil. :) by "keep your eyes on the prize" i believe she meant maybe we should take a step back and consider what we're doing to the environment and the people who have to live with the disastrous mistakes we have and continue to make. and realise we're

Ha I love this song && (I am a vegetarian) I always thought of it as having to do with the normalities of ones life. People in our country have been killing animals for food without any care or concern for said creatures life, It made me think of that whole theory of your society teaches youu whats acceptable && what isnt... But yeah I never associated it with the war, untill now. && I guess it could fit in with my society theory aswell. && thats something I love about this site; you get to think of things in different ways based upon the ideas of others, =)
