I think that it's about the end of a relationship, as cliche as it sounds.

"take all your regrets and throw them aside" Forget the moments you regretted.

"lets hope that you survive the "you deserve better"'s and blatant lies told by your closest enemies." It's that whole tideous business with friends who consoul you with the whole 'oh you'll find some better crap'

"you wanted all I couldn't give and now you're sick over my treasons. I hope you never notice" She wanted something he couldn't give, like comitment or something, and seeing as though he wouldn't do it = treason.

". I hope you never notice but what's done is done and now I can't come back." The relationship is over, and it won't go back to how it was.

"I'm just chasing after what I can't ever reach.. but that's not so bad... is it? " Maybe he cheated on her, and now he's chasing after that girl? or he ditched her for another girl which he's having touble getting.

That too me is the general gist of the song.

The song is about the end of a relationship, inspired by the girl's "friends" tell her she could do so much better than him. Bottom line, sounds like she listened to the people that aren't really her friends over her boyfriend.
