i think this song is about some kind of delusions the lead singer was having. a girl he liked must've died and he suddenly felt responsible for it.
he tries to tell himself he didn't kill the girl; he hopes he's only dreaming. he doesn't want her to be dead.
asdfghjkl, sorry for this 2nd post. i just wanted to say that i'm not wholly sure that is what the song means; haha, i'm probably far from the actual meaning.
I really like all the overlapping vocals. It's hard to tell what this is about because it's kinda random and vague. But its great song.
