from what i hear, i am 1/4 of the inspiration for this song. i was with my [ex] boyfriend and 2 friends at an aquabats show in december '05. back then, someone would say something like 'hey, where do you wanna go?' to which you would respond 'hi-five city!' and then everyone would proceed to hi-five eachother. a few months later, one of said friends cousins heard this song and asked what it was about, and they said 'these four kids in vegas'. i am too cool.
