This song is about someone who fell for a girl called Mandy but he decided to send her away even though she was selfless and now he feels bad. And so he should.

A man obviously not used to being loved and cared for going through life but he looks at happy people and remembers one woman Mandy in his case who was there for him at his time of need and stoppped him from shaking ( meaning when he was broken) without asking anything in return. He sent her away anyways . He misses her. Love was there for him. He did not take it. His life is worse because nothing is same without her . Nothing is rhyming I need you today oh Mandy He still needs her Basically not realizing at that time how much she was giving him and he missed his chances at love obviously he s come to the realization of what he had with her. Hope he found her. :(
