All's not lost Lyrics
stoned, half a mile from home
I was dragged a million miles away
to the nearest place where I could see the beauty & feel that all's not lost
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found honest love
whoa, I got stoned!
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found true & honest love at last
awake, to find yourself at war
on all (on all) fronts, including my core
a search to find the quiet peace of mind which lets me know that all's not lost
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found honest love
whoa, I got stoned!
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found true & honest love at last
I was dragged a million miles away
to the nearest place where I could see the beauty & feel that all's not lost
is where I fell
I found honest love
whoa, I got stoned!
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found true & honest love at last
on all (on all) fronts, including my core
a search to find the quiet peace of mind which lets me know that all's not lost
is where I fell
I found honest love
whoa, I got stoned!
in a bad motel
is where I fell
I found true & honest love at last

This song isn't too hard to get the meaning of.
It starts out with him telling where he is, Stoned and apparently half a mile from home. He's not in a very good mood, or at least he's in a semi-bad mood and he's much rather remember another time he was stoned. He decides to think "to the nearest place where I could see the beauty & feel that all's not lost"
He remembers back to when he was stoned and fell in love, apparently in a bad motel. This is where he found true & honest love.
