This is my favourite DDG song. No idea what it's about, to put it on the blatant side perhaps it's dying at sea, by a shark. haha. It's probably got some other meaning but why read between the lines?
It's about a human's natural state of mind. The theory that we are all born evil (we're all blood-thirsty killers) but society changes us to do good (razor cut like a smile). It's about how that evil instinct comes out when we experience love (lights will ignite us). Which is why love always ends in heartbreak. (The first time's the last time). He's saying he'll never love again.
Well, that's what it means to me, anyway. That's what I think about when I listen to this song, but I could be wrong.
i thought it said were all fucking dead in the first part like after the for were all deads.
