Are You Happy Lyrics
Are you happy? You got what you wanted.
I'm lucky; I'm here with my someone.
My everything; you'll bleed to death on me. (To death on...)
You're a ten when you're lying next to me; heavy breathing. (x4)
(Breathing...)
(Breathing...)
Are you happy? You got what you wanted.
I'm lucky; I'm here with my someone.
My everything; you'll bleed to death on me. (To death on...)
Are you happy? You got what you wanted.
You're winter; I left you for summer.
My everything; you'll bleed to death on me. (To death on...)
I'm lucky; I'm here with my someone.
My everything; you'll bleed to death on me. (To death on...)

Well, he obviously left this girl for somebody else(I'm lucky, I'm here with my someone), and now she's heartbroken (you'll bleed to death on me). I'm guessing she treated him badly since he refers to her as "winter". I'm thinking lying next to her is intimidating... and awkward (heavy breathing). He's saying "You're a ten" sarcastically.
i think its saying i left you for sumer like he broke up with her and went for a girl named summer.
no offence gregrindcore, but that. seem's kind of ridiculous. i think it's like a metaphor comparison kind of thing, summer (the new girl) , is warm and happy and winter (the old girl), is dark, sad, and cold.
yeah.
i agree with llamaco.
yea im agree'in with parkway_drive and llamaco
i think that he's saying the relationship was crappy except for the sex ("you're a ten when you're lying next to me") and that he left her for someone better for him. ("you're winter; i left you for summer") but yeah. that's what i think. ^_^
nah; what i think is that his love broke his heart and left him for someone else ("Are you happy? You got what you wanted.") and he's mocking her because once he's moved on ("I'm lucky; I'm here with my someone.") she realizes she wants him back. but now he know her game and has moved on ("Are you happy? You got what you wanted. You're winter; I left you for summer.") and even though possibly a part of him still loves her; it's her turn to feel the same pain of rejection she caused him
("My everything; you'll bleed to death on me.")
Karma's a Bitch :)
You're a ten when you're lying next to me; heavy breathing.
it almost sounds like he stabbed his girlfriend, or whoever he is talking about.. like she's breathing heavily, because she's dying.. thats what i think when i hear it, just because of the tone of his voice.. i love it
agrree with llamaco, about the whole winter summer thing.
great song. xx
