this song use to have so much meaning to me. my exboyfriend dumped me at the beginning of the summer in 2007 and he treated me like shit! it hurt so bad and it really messed me up. then all of a sudden he wanted me back. and i was too mad and hurt to get back together with him. he tried for about a month and then what finally broke me down was this song. he took me for a ride in his car and he said he had found the perfect song to say what he was feeling. and i cried when i heard this cause i finally believed he was truly sorry for everything he had done and that he still loved me. guys, if you've treatedyour girl badly, use this song. lol it will get them back eveytime.

Watching the video. The obvious scenario is that he is the surfer. but perhapse -- what if he isn't the surfer -- and is actually the ex. and watching as they get into a small fight -- just as it happens in the video. And he's sorry looking back. and peering into her new life as a stalker. Of course he's sorry. Strangely the video makes the surfer looks like the sexier of the two and that she is the one who is sorry (although it was probably him who caused it), but regardless the singer is stalking his ex.

Amazing band and amazing song. Seen them live in Greenville S.C. few years back and they kicked ass. Always have been my favorite band and I am so glad they are back to stay.

This song is exactly the way i am feeling at the minute, i couldnt have said it better myself. It's when you have done something that you didnt realise at the time was goign to get to someone so much. About knowing you were wrong but knowing you cant take it back.
