Hmm, i just watched 'Behind The Music: Nick Lachey' and he stated that he only ever trusted what came out of Jessica's mouth, and none of the rumours and just hoped she's done the same, because if you believe just one of the lies, you can't help but believe all the rest.
He also said that he still didn't know why she filed for divorce, but someone along the line their marriage had become all about 'business'. He did say however that despite what happened, they were two people so in love and that all that he ever wanted was to be a family man and platinum albums and highly rated tv shows are nothing compared to that.
He sounded genuinly hurt and even slight confused by the whole situation, and it sounded like the divorce was her doing, and he she had never said to him the reason for her decision. It was all quite sad tbh.

after i listened to this song, i felt.. WOW this makes jessica sound like a bitch. and then in her song 'i belong to me' its like.... "its not that i dont want to be with you i just dont.. wanna give myself to you in any way" it confuses me..
apparently jessica knew their marriage was over when nick didnt accompany her to some trip to africa.

I personally love it because it is a break up song that says something other than I hate you or please come back...and I love the fact that Nick is being real and admitting that it hurt him..mean while Jessica is prancing around like it's all good..but all in all the best song he came out with..
i just watched behind the music too. i think that jessica made a mistake. he seemed like a genuine person and a person who could care less about fame. all that matteered to him was his family. he is such a sweet person and i think he cared for jessica a lot and he treated her like she meant the world to him. i dont think jessica will ever find anyone who will treat her as good as nick did.
