Sully IS a Wiccan, and (very admirably) doesn't regard God and other Christian beliefs as the worst thing in the world. In Bad Religion, he's talking about church corruption, not hating beliefs... I mean, come on. They aren't black metal. I like this song, and I'm a Christian, if anyone cares.

i think this song is about a guy who has lived a bad life and wants to change but he cant seem to change ("cant seem to break this trend......i dont know how to go out") hes lived in sin for so long that hes seen bad things and been bad places ("ive seen it all and ive walked it tall") then he finally calls out to God to help him ("God help me now"). thats what i think

I thought this was interesting, considering that on the face of it the song seems to have Christian references, and last I heard Sully was a witch....

Now i know i should not write that and that Sully the signer is not that kind of men. But this is just how i felt about the song.

I felt this song is about pedophilia. The signer can't get rid of his attraction to young girl. It's like he is walking down the street one day and see a young girl that attract him. He just thinks to himself that his life sucks and is not worth living. He has no sex life or friend and want to end his life. No matter how he does not want that attraction it's part of him and no therapy is going to help him.

This song is obviously about him turning his life around, and apparntly finding God, a trend through out this album, which I find odd cause when Godsmack's Vodoo came out, MTV reported that Sully was Wicken. I dont know much about religion but I know what I hear in this song.

The user before me wrote something about pedophilia which makes me question what is going on there as there is no lyrics pointing to pedophilia.

maybe some evaluation should be taken into themselves (the user) and judgement should be used before posting something like that.

the song is about the leader singer feeling as though he is a bad person"living in sin" and life is changing too much for him. i heard Godsmack on 98rock doing an interview for the new cd, they were discussing what their songs meant and why they put it on the cd.

oki first off i just heard this song the first time the other day with my boyfriend and i wanted to know where the hell you get the idea that this song remotely points to someone being a pedophile?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!! i just dont see it... obviously the song is about someone living a sinful life and wanting to turn it around... so he asks God for help... the prayer at the beginning of the song just adds to the mood and this song really makes me reflect on my life... its great and has wonderful guitar in it!!!!
