Error Operator (Fantastic Four version) Lyrics

well there's been an accident (calm down)
there's been an accident breathe
in and out calm down (in and out calm down)
breathe in and out calm down (in and out calm down)

we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't

breathe in and out calm down

well would you do it again again and count backwards from ten
(look i don't make those mistakes no more)
sometimes i swear i could see straight through you
just concentrate control (well would you do it again)

we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back

concentrate just calculate
could you concentrate just calculate
could you concentrate just calculate
could you concentrate just calculate
don't be late just cancel it
concentrate just don't be late
cancel it just cancel it
could you concentrate just calculate

i try (it's just)
i try (it's just)
i try (it's just)
i try (it's just)
i tried (it's just)
i try (it's just)
i tried (it's just)
i try (it's just)

we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
we can't
(we stop die) ??
we can't go back
can't go back
can't go back
(feels like)
we can't
(anything anything anything anything)
we can't go back

Adam's voice doesn't sound as good as the Louder Now version. But otherwise than that I just think that Adam is amazing at writing this song. It's like as if he was the Mr. Fantastic [or whatever his name is] character and from his point of view. "We can't go back, can't go back..." I think refers to the people not being able to return to their normal state. Overall, the lyrical structure and emotions behind it is great.

no one knows what the hell Adam's mumbling in the bridge...

But in the end, it deffinitely is not: "We stop die feels like anything, anything." it is: "this doesn't feel like anything, anything."

Listen to the live video on YouTube and you can hear Fred more clearly than on the recording.

When Louder Now first came out, this is the song I first downloaded and my favorite for a long time. Then I got the album and heard that version. I like this version better, because it's a little more wild than the album version, although that's a bit hard explain. I like the bridge part especially because it builds up to the guitar extravaganza.

I prefer the Louder Now version....this is way too polished...the album version is rawer, especially Lazarra's voice...plus the pace in this version just doesn't fit, it's too slow.
