Great Instrumental. one of my favorute instrumentals. I don't know why this was the last instrumental of Maiden, but this is really epic. Powerslave was their beast album to me.
This is my fave instrumental they've done. When I hear it, I can always imagine a fight or a duel (maybe a slight link to another track on Powerslave called The Duellists).
The intro sounds exactly the same as the duelist's, save the '1, 2, 1234' I personally think it reflects the aftermath of 2 minutes to midnight, Big 'Orra = Big Horra/ Big Aura.
A guy I used to work with said Iron Maiden were satanist and used this track as his proof.
Biggora Losfer Words = Big Are Lucifers Words
Yes he was a dumb ass.
ugh. It Means Loss for words, BIG Horror! in a cockney accent. Iron Maiden is not satanist.
It would take a smarter man than me to figure this one out.
Losfer Words, as correctly pointed out, is most likely "Loss for words," in Cockney transliteration.
The second part is more likely in my opinion to be "Begorrah," an Irish interjection for astonishment or amazement.
The likelihood of it being Big Horror is rather low, but not impossible.
Considering Steve Harris's wife, "Lorraine," was pregnant at this time with his child, I kind of figured he was at a "loss for words" at the wonder of being a father. I figured "'Orra" was short for (L)Orra(ine).
Or, maybe not?
Great piece of music, either way.
@Heavymetalharp Oh, and she was "big" because she was pregnant.
