this song just became more meaningful to me than i ever thought it could. My best friend is in the hospital with brain damage and he will probably never wake up let alone survive. I love him so freakin much and i am so heart broken over it... the minute i heard about his accident and his condition i got together enough money to take a bus, i travelled 29 hours to get here only to find out that his someone in his family thinks im being "intrusive" to come and see him yet anyone else other than me is more than welcome... for reasons i dont know. Anyways I might as well leave here now if im not going to be able to see him but i dont want to go home... i REALLY dont want to go home to sit there and just cry all day thats where the lyrics "Can't move on But I can't go home And I'm not so strong But I'll make my way To the place I know Inside my heart Where I used to go to get brave And I don't want to be lost anymore" I cant move on but i have to and i dont want to go home but i have to find somewhere inside of me to be brave for him even if its gonna be the hardest thing. I dont know where im going to go but i will be going alone and thats where these lyrics come into play "I don't know where I go but I know I drive alone I terribly miss you More than you'll ever know You've got to come back somehow You've got to come back somehow You've got to come back somehow" because i know he has to come back to us some how we love him so much he HAS to wake up.

it's just so beautiful.

basically about finding one's comfort zone, or self, or just that certain something that makes us feel alive and complete.

to me it's about being lost and not lost in the literal sense, like, lost in your life, stuck even she's talking about how she "can't move on but [she] can't go home" she's on her own, and she's admitting to vulernability "i'm not so strong" but she's pressing on anyway she's looking to herself for strength, comfort, and peace because she's been left behind i guess it could be a break up song but i like to think it's about more than just a lost boyfriend/girlfriend i like to think it's about losing a friend, or family member i feel like maybe someone she loved died and is never coming back, so she has to find strength within
