Superheroes Lyrics
There is a white breast
Waiting for you here
Between the superheroes
And the electric blanket is warm
I could be young, and fresh
If I weren't so old and used
and wet and wet, I am wet
Tell me all your secrets and your torments
You're delicious, you're delicious
Send me on a quest for lullabies and more
What I have got?
I've got more than you know
Open your eyes, I cannot be what I am not
I'm not what I used to be, and I
I don't know myself from anybody else
I'm not what I used to be, I'm not what
I'm not what I used to be, and I
You don't know what you have done
My frame is here but the mind is gone, gone away
Don't cut the white breast
I've been waiting for you here
Bigger and better and faster and wetter
And bigger and better and faster and better
She said in concert that she wrote this song about a guy that she was in love with that is no longer living.
She's in love....
Damn it!!! I wish that a girl would feel this way about me again. So eager to impress and to give. She seems alittle lost within her own identity but that doesn't seem to matter because she is caught on the hopes of gaining attention from another. She also seems to want to be an outlet or comfortor for someone, "Tell me all your secrets and your torment." I don't know but I love this song.
ive always thought this song was about her being in love with a younger man-as in superhero sheets, electric blankets, etc...
it's about another woman.....
i agree, she's talking about another woman.... she's professing that she's just as good as another (younger) woman...
When I heard the line "Between the superheroes", all I could think of was Esthero wearing adult Underoos with Wonder Woman on them while being under an electric blanket.
i think it's "you're delicious. your delicious eyes send me on a quest for lullabies."
i always thought it was about the same as Venus as a Boy. sunrise, sunlight, white sheets in the morning. sight gives way to touch as the primary sense.
Esthero explains the origin of Superheroes during this interview. Whoever guessed it was about a past boyfriend got it right.
