Wow first comment. I thought I'd better post this now before the whole country becomes obsessed with this song. I reckon this song is going to be the next "Crazy" (by Knarls Barkley). "Stoned In Love" is just so catchy and Tom Jones' voice goes so well with the music. Other than that I'm not altogether sure of the meaning. Something to do with two people falling out of love?...and I'm sure getting stoned comes into it somewhere. ;)

a lot of lyrics sites have the lyrics for this as "good love is when i'm feeling stoned in love". Not sure which is right... I didn't realise it was Tom Jones for the longest time, it doesn't really sound like him (which is a good thing!) I think the person's talking about how being in love makes them feel stoned and all happy and they aren't feeling that with the current person.

I think it is about how he loves someone who obviously doesnt love him, but he is with someone who loves him that he doesnt love.

Plus he likes the feeling of bieng "Stoned" which i interpret as bieng happy when he is in love.

Phew. Complicated? Much.
