I always thought it was about somebody who lives their life, but doesn't like it, and lives their life to their "Soundtrack"
I thought it was "Living a life, and feeling alive"?
I think this song is about someone that is living their life in a way they are not happy with. Living their life in a non-feeling way, more like a social robot.
