i have a different version of this song...in the second verse at some point its like "this one's done and i'm an asshole"
but yeah, great song, i'm obsessed.
it's about never being able to just be happy with what you have. you're always looking for something better, and once you get what you think you want, you decide it's not really what you want and you want something else. i can relate to this with relationships.
I can really relate to this song. It's helped me through some tough times.
I feel like the guy feels like he's not as great as he should be and he keeps changing his mind about relationships.
He feels like the girl he's with is just there until he finds something better. I mean, she's good... but he's a nitpicker. There's all these little things he doesn't like.
So he just keeps moving on towards what he think will be a better relationship... although deep inside he still knows that he was better off in the first place and sometimes he wishes he could just accept that.
