Cool video, cool song. This is the basic questioning faith scenario, it sounds like he's admitting / succumbing to being human.. being scared, and wanting someone to keep him safe from the things he can't control. wanting to believe. I can relate to this, it's really difficult to not want a savior when you're going through fucking hell, and you're ready to believe in the craziest superstitious bullshit because you're so desperate..
