powerful song, i really like it

This Song is about the Man who is demon possessed, that Jesus drives the demons out of. My group, Gettysburg Master's Commission, does a human video to this song. It is good, it is powerful. I love this song

this song is so dark feeling and different from any other casting crowns song. I love it, and Drim had the idea of the song right.

I think its about a man whose life has fallen apart and he can't get it back on track and he feels like hes trapped in this dark world and he needs jesus to help set him free so he can live life again

I've always wanted to do an amazing Human Video to this song...but I guess I don't have what it takes, or something...

Ironically I heard this today in an assembly at our school for a remembrance video called B.M.R., Be More Responsible. It was a vid of various pictures of 3 kids, Bailey, Matt, and Ryan, who died april 29th of this year to drugs. Its disturbing how fitting it is, never noticed the whole jesus thing till I looked at the lyrics. Good song though.

I just heard this song on the radio for the first time and I love it.

The lost man is Israel. The darkness and demons are the terrorists who brought on dark days. Israel is wrapped in chains and cannot get away of the dark powers, she screams "SET ME FREE". The United States is compared to Jesus, as the savior of Israel. The US "will set the captives free", she will rescue Israel from the Islamic darkness

The last chorus is being spoken by the savior, US herself: "Do you wanna be free? Lift your chains I hold the key". The US has the key to unlock the chains. "All Power on Heaven and Earth belong to me" - a true fact about the United States. She is the most powerful body in the world, it sure has the key to rescue Israel - the daughter of the United States and source of both religions.

And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” 13 And at once Jesus[c] gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.

14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 16 And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. 17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.

18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. 19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” 20 And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

All glory belongs to God alone! Jesus was and is God in the form of a man when He came to earth, a humbling lowly existance, He came of no reputation to seek that which was lost, all men's souls. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again in glory, power and all authority in His triumpant return at a time we do not expect it.
