What is the difference in the UK version? It is it in the music or lyrics...?
i personally like this version a lot more than the CD version. i originally got my hands on a copy of this, before james blunt was known in north america, and loved it. the version in the music video isn't nearly as touching as this one. the music is different and there isn't a "my life is brilliant" in the first few seconds in the song like there is in the video version james blunt rocks.
oh, and there are more differences within the lyrics with the chorus, just different timing, but the words are mostly the same
Understandably, James Blunt has became a victim of Cockney rhyming slang and is now known as 'Bland Cunt'. Which can only be expected when you're churning out such awful music.

I don't get it, the first verse he says "I got a plan", but the next he says "And I don't know what to do", huh? Anyway, I've always hated this song.
