Song 3 Lyrics
reach the arms a tree at night
burnt and black it stole the light
and you know what it is that i feel
and when your fingers pull and fight
and they braid and weave inside
making planes and trees ignite
destroying all that they feel
growing bright above the planes
what has happened to the weight?
and you know what i is that i feel
are we so lost that we stopped searching.
are we so lost that we stopped walking.
are we so right?
burnt and black it stole the light
and they braid and weave inside
making planes and trees ignite
destroying all that they feel
what has happened to the weight?
are we so lost that we stopped walking.
are we so right?

The second verse is amazing
This has hastily become a classic appleseed cast track. The morose guitar and echo-y, mourning vocals seem to paint the picture that this song is about remorse, we are destroying what we find beautiful.
anyway, this song is one of the best they play live. especially sans vocal effects.

omg i fucking love this song. and the things... that some things do to you..
for some reason i feel like this song might be slightly political. i get that feel from some of there other songs, but the lines
and when your fingers pull and fight and they braid and weave inside making planes and trees ignite destroying all that they feel
seems like a giveaway. and the "are we so right?" is like a question in regards to the US being in iraq. i dunno. i have no proof of this just a thought.
