Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
What the.... Nobody posted on this song??? Ok, there is no meaning to it because it's in Hopelandic because it isn't a language, but doesn't the end sound like some kind of chorus you'd hear enterin heaven? Maybe it's just me.
the heavy and constant bass reminds me a little bit of the snow- calm and definite, and almost too comforting. and with the falsetto vocals, it's like flying over the mountains. then in comes the piano, a majestic eagle or hawk..i dunno, this song just does it for me. great to listen to while asleep.
i agree its a great song. such a happy chorus not like some of the other Sigur Ros stuff. im not saying the other is sad its just reflective or thought provoking
How true, all of you. i can't say this is my favorite Sigur Ros song becuse i've said that about too many, and i can't say it's the best on the albun cause Flugufrelsarinn is. but this is perfect in every way.
This is BY FAR my favorite Sigur Ros song. I don't say this about media often with all complete honesty but this song is beautiful. I really wish I knew what Sigur Ros was going for with this song, it makes me calm and sad, yet it makes me so fucking happy just to listen to it. I have to agree with ms. mary ann, something about the bass and the voice just soar you over everything. Oh my god, I literally just realized how this song makes me feel exactly, it's always been so confusing to me but I have finally got it. This song makes me feel like I'm flying not in the super hero way or on a airplane I'm just flying; under me I see everything the bad and the good and I just look at all of it and I take it all in. Then I come back down and I can't do anything about it and I know that I will never see it like that again and I get sad, yet hopeful because I know that everything is content and the people around me when I get back are in bliss. God, this song is so much. How?

Absolutely stunning and gorgeous. This is what love sounds like.
Something about this song just makes me feel so clear-headed and unlimited. I love the la la la's around six minutes in-ish.

makes me want to go march down the street of a small town while a marching band of bears and beavers follows closley behind.
ps... i also like how at the bottom of each page there is the "Ads by Gooooooogle" and how wrong they are. right now it says "Tool lyrics"...
