BTW I think the lyrics posted here as

is actually
"Shut your mouth WITH my dress"
I have a few live versions of this song, and it's pretty clear she is saying WITH and not RIP.
It makes more sense too.
This song means alot to me. I've been in situations like this, and this song just lets all the built up memories out.
Sounds to me like a very dysfunctional, abusive relationship. She's a victim of an unfaithful lover, and at this point there's no turning back, no way they could be make up or ever be able to repair their relationship, even as friends.
If i may make a few corrections to the song: After "the color is honey" KJG sings "I go the mile" then "your fingerprints.." I believe it is "i take a light flex" and it's "you're girlfriend and you on the Pyre" it doesn't quite make sense but thats how it is written in the booklet but there are a few typos in the booklet so i think the correct spelling would be "your" not you're
Besides that this is the song that got me hooked on Queen Adreena so it will always be one of my favorites. I completely agree with girlicide that it's about an abusive relationship. The song just feels like a kick in the stomach.. in a good sort of way.
