this song is wicked!!! i never thought it was jimmi hendrix who sang this song. ive only heard it a couple of times but no matter what mood im in it makes me happy :)

depressing this only has about 3 posts. anyway, could be about a drug and the way it makes him feel and how it "makes his heart sing" or about a woman who also "makes his heart sing."
doesnt have anything to do with drugs, the original was from the 50s I think then later on the Troggs played it. then Jimi Covered it. Whatever the case its a good song, I live both versions for different reasons. The live version of this at Monterrey by Jimi is good. The part towards the end (where if you have never seen the video) he humps his guitar against his amp stack and then smashes it, then lights it on fire... while making the coolest feedback ever.
