Imagery of a head exploding like a mushroom cloud makes me think of suicide.

to me it sounds like the song is about writing the song. Trying to come up with an idea that will get through to the audience and get their attention. But at the same time you dont want it to be some cool fake hit or a kids cool clique like creep from radiohead. Brainstorming ideas for the song till it feels like your head is exploding like a mushroom cloud. this song is a brilliant and inspiring song and so is the rest of the album. Abandoned pools rock.
