I always thought the line went, "Anger and coffee, feeding me"....

regardless, a truly great song to drive fast to. Rollins' WM3 'cover' is one the best songs on that comp.

Yeah, this song makes me think of driving to. It sums up a lot of intense feelings such as rage, frustration etc. I love hearing this live.

I think it's about paranoid jealousy about your gf/bf. I imagine sitting at home, staring at the wall, thinking WAY too much in worry about being abandoned/cheated on/whatever. Can't trust anyone. Confusion and paranoia, accompanied by loneliness.

i think the song is about waking up and still feeling tired and so he's drinking black coffee and he's staring at the wall because he's sleepy.

me and my ex-boyfriend used to listen to this song all the time, so it always makes me think of him. he loves his coffee black, but i like mine with lots of sugar!

i feel like they are singing about the boring standard lifestyle, like "i drink coffee and stare into a wall all day." And i think that because they sing "black coffee" proves that the man or woman in question does not even add something to his or her coffee, which can be seen as boring.

this song to me describes the punk from a first point perspective "anger and coffee" and "stare at the wall" shows us the life of a punk its life without meaning and self conflict and to be honest i do the same thing
