This song reminds me of every time I met some girl and never really got to know her ... there are always questions but it seems they never get answered.
There is a simple depth to this song, as contradicting as that may sound. There's an inquisitive innocence about it. I love it.
I thought this song was about the monkey off Curious George. The monkey can't speak but hes so curious and he looks like he wants to ask questions but he cant. something like that.

I can really relate to this song. When I first started dating my boyfriend, we were both kind of shy, and we both wanted to know about eachother, but we were, like I said, too shy to ask, so I used to listen to this song and think, "Jack Johnson, you speak to my soul."
