The Levy Lyrics
Now... rise, rise, rise to fall
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
Faith at least in the form of gravity
Keeps me low at the ladder
Time to crawl to the salty heel that pins my life
Rise, rise, rise to fall
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
Now... rise, rise, rise to fall
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
Climb, climb, climb, to fall!
Climb, climb, climb, to fall!
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
Keeps me low at the ladder
Time to crawl to the salty heel that pins my life
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
I never cared, never cared to try until now
To find home
The distance grows as the ground approaches
Climb, climb, climb, to fall!

1st to post...I must say...this song is amazing, I've been listening to it since it's been up online, although I don't think the lyrics are "the salty hill" because that doen't make any sense... anyways, I love Sonny's voice on this track, it sounds different, but I love it :) by the way--CD OUT MARCH 21ST GO GET IT!!
This song is beyond blew me away! I loved it!!! I can't wait for their new CD! -amanda_
the most amazing song I've heard in awhile. Sonny's voice is very different though but it's good. Does anyone no wat the song means?
I have no idea what the meaning of this song is. I guess its still personal to the band, which is how it should be if you ask me. I am just SO impressed by FFTL. Bringing out music with a new sound is hard, and they have been getting alot of criticism for it (just look on their myspace). However, the song seems really deep compared to the older stuff, and shows that FFTL do not need to rely on great, catchy lyrics (note to self, etc.) to create an awesome track. I love it.
This is good. Very different to old fftl. Which is also good imo.
Oh yes...these lyrics are wrong...I shall post the correct ones...
i love how haunting this song is...and when sonny screams NOOO i love the double bass at the end, it sounds absolutly perfect. i think the song means that when you lose everything is the only time when you really start to try and pick yourself back up..because you never really start out with nothing unless you lose something to begin with.
OKay...these are the right ones
ye now there the right lyrics ;)
I only love the beginning of this song. It gets slower as it goes on... BUT THE BEG. ROCKS.
