Pretty basic... he's waiting for his soulmate to come along and meet him. Seems to be having a rough time waiting it out though. The last verse is a little less straitforward, but I think he's passing up being with someone whom he knows isn't really the one for him, yes is attracted to him.

Good song. Seems like this one could have become a hit... oh well.

Great song. Some have speculated the "going to sleep, going there alone"line is a suicidal reference.

i read the last line as also meaning that everyone dies alone in the end, so what is the point of crying about not having someone ?

i do think this and dyslexic heart are also to be heart in the context of the SINGLES movie. more in line with the movie and its characters.
