We are all like boats going to and fro on a river at night. We can live seeing the lights of other boats (people) all around us or we can die looking for them. The only certainty is that we will all be swept along by the river (time).

i LOVE THIS SONG! Sometimes the dream/ideal vision before us robs us of living life in the present. And the reality of the present is that it is fleeting. Time, life, age, death come to all of us... A tragedy with this life is that we get caught up in dreams vs. living life and the people around us instead of waiting for an ideal life/wife/picture of what our life could be.
