Star-Field On Red Lines Lyrics

Playground
Home-land
A countryside to save

Blue skies
Air-space
Soldiers to raise

And sanctified

Storng armed
Christians
Oiled up and fed

Safe as
Houses
In aprons of lead

And sacrified

Omens and Signs
A star-field
On red lines
Turn those blind eyes
To fantasies
And white lies

How much
Longer
This empire of night

The smallest
Subjects
All begin to fight

And multiply

Omens and Signs
A star-field
On red lines
Turn those blind eyes
To fantasies
And white lies

Omens and Signs
A star-field
On red lines
Turn those blind eyes
To fantasies
And white lies

Head down
Brace yourself
Here it comes

Head down
Brace yourself
Here it comes

Ignoring the lyrics entirely which deserves some dwelling upon to understand their intent, what this song manages to produce is extreme relaxation over a shaky subject of American dominance and commercialism.

It's oxymoronic to me, yet it's beauty pulls you in.

I'm too big of a DS fan, so i can't say things like 'this is one of his best songs' because i treasure them all. But, this is probably one of the better ones he's made.
