This is about Ariel meeting Helena, the love of his youth, thinking it by coincidence, not knowing she has been searching for him over the years that passed. He seizes the moment, thinking little of anything beyond it and sleeps with her, realising his true feelings for her. He is also unaware of the fact she has conceived his child in this moment, but only wants her.

commenting on the emotions brought about the song: ariel is at bliss at this point of the album. there is no hint of confusion or dissatisfaction. it is peculiar that he did not realize that this is the moment that he doesn't want to end forever (his fear of his time with helena ending is hinted at the chorus)
