Ghostship Pt V Lyrics
Contradict this settlement, cause in droves we'll settle this,
over and under and in between thoughts.
This is just not me, at this point you see, we are finally satisfactory.
Over and under and in between thoughts.
(Red on the walls)
I'm drowning in her scent!
(Ceiling to floor)
The words you said are dead to me,
I'll get the last laugh you'll see!!!
(Red on the walls)
I'm drowning in her scent!
(Ceiling to floor)
The words you said are dead!
Catastrophic at the least, in her eyes i'm trying to be,
reading and writing and finding myself.
Counter-action is relaxation to reload stations has blown my patience the ramifications infatuating these words!!!
(Red on the walls)
I'm drowning in her scent!
(Ceiling to floor)
The words you said are dead to me,
I'll get the last laugh you'll see!!!

(Red on the walls)
I'm drowning in her scent!
(Ceiling to floor)
The words you said are dead!
I've made up my mind...
Wait for all of time!!!
I've made up my mind...
Pick up the pieces.
All of this time you were walking away,
super-imposed in this land of decay...
over and under and in between thoughts.
This is just not me, at this point you see, we are finally satisfactory.
Over and under and in between thoughts.
I'm drowning in her scent!

I love this song. It's really the song that got me into Fall of Troy.
Anywus, umm, well, you guys know the whole story about the crew and stuff.
I don't know, I guess we can just wait till the Ghostship LP with the 3 or 4 other tracks to really get the whole story.
i totally agree man! totally! right on!
i dont get the meaning
It's amazing how much the bass stands out in this song. You can actually hear it better than the guitar during most of the song.
I think this one is about the one remaining crew member who makes it home and he's finding himself in a land of decay and finding himself and picking up the pieces of his life.
i like the little techno part
Yeah, I totally agree with Herald. I also think that when he returns home he might have found his wife with another man, and murders her. (Red on the walls, I'm drowning in her scent, ceiling to floor. The words you said are dead to me. I'll get the last laugh you'll see.). After all the things he's experienced out at see he really doesn't care about anything. After he kills her he just wanders around, and his life is meaningless and in decay.
That's just what I think about this song, it seems reasonable to me.
This is my favorite of the Ghostships.
best ghostship (and maybe ever song) they've done. i love how he screams the chorus.
I always thought that the line
"I've made up my mind..."
Was
"I made it up all along!"
