I always thought this song was about heroin addiction that ultimatly leads to death.
If you read all the words it totally makes sense; "BLAD tarantula", "INJECT me BACTERIA", "spine going NUMB" And the verse is talking about the fact you're dying with no remorse and your family can all get screwed.

Blad, taken from differnet sites, is a jamcian word used in inner city parts of I believe they said england, that means brother, blood or kin. So it can mean someone who is related to you or someone who is really close to you that is like a brother. Not sure what that does to the meaning of the song, just thought I'd throw that out there.
i always thought it was "black tarantula" but looking at a few different lyrics sites, they say either "blad" or "the" tarantula...
