ohh i love this song, cant quite decide what its about, seems its kinda just about life in general but the guy isn't very happy, he feels alone but hes hiding it all and no one can tell how he feels. 'i'm on the otherside, you dont know, you cant tell' 'i'm all dressed up in disguise' hes become good at hiding his unhappiness 'its easy they say, you just smile the day away' faking it for everyone. it also seems it could be about an alcoholic, whether its him or someone else 'so push away what hurts, we'll show you a drink to hold you in' drinking to make themselves feel better and forget their problems but whoever it is keeps swearing to someone they wont drink anymore 'crossing your heart wont be easy this time, when you raise your trembling hand, and swear away' and the last bit seems he just wonders when things will get better, 'when will life change for me' he wants to leave and go somehwere else, either away from himself and start again or whoever the other person is he wnats to understand how he feels 'and know whats on my chest, arrest my heart'

I think that this song is about Jesus. Many of Dispatch's songs such as the General have obvious biblical messages. Like the part where it says "I wanna run, run from all my foes" is like how jesus always avoided the philistines. and the part "I'm all dressed up in disguise" reminds me of how he always wore his beard everywhere.
