You were the one that brings the weather.
You were a dream I've had forever.
You know exactly what I'm wishing.
You're gonna love me in to submission.
Feelings I had
while at your feet --
those kinds of things I can't repeat.
You're gonna fill the world with light.
You put the point in exclamation.
You took a day to build a nation.
You're gonna teach me how to live.
You're gonna teach me how to give.
Feelings I had --
Well, who could say?
I could explain them, anyway.
You're gonna fill my world with light.
You're gonna fill my world with light.
You were a dream I've had forever.
You know exactly what I'm wishing.
You're gonna love me in to submission.
while at your feet --
those kinds of things I can't repeat.
You're gonna fill the world with light.
You took a day to build a nation.
You're gonna teach me how to live.
You're gonna teach me how to give.
Well, who could say?
I could explain them, anyway.
You're gonna fill my world with light.
You're gonna fill my world with light.

i can't believe no one has commented on this song. its sooo good! 'you put the point in exclamation' great line...
The meaning of this song is rather straight-forward: someone meets someone and that someone knows that the other someone is going to make this someone's life alot better and happier. It's a really great and original song. I, however, wouldn't listen to the whole ten minutes over and over again like Ben Lee's other songs.
I think the song's supposed to be religious [which is strange to me because I always got a weird sexual vibe from it]. Ben Lee is some form of Hindu [I believe, correct me if I'm wrong]. For the most part, the song is self-explanatory, and parts of it sound a bit like Hindu poetry, a lot of which talks about Krishna as a lover.
