the only thing we have is the version on the vcd(very low quality), but karl confirmed these lyrics.

This song was released on Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo, which is absolutely fantastic.

i just listened to my favorite song for the first time ever :'D i've waited 4 years for this moment. i prayed rivers would put it on his album and he did! best christmas present evar.
the fifth stanza has always summed up my view of life/relationships, but recent situations have definitely increased my understanding of the first two verses.
There's something about this song that just feels really special, I can't really describe it.
It's now one of my favorite songs, not only from the best demo compilation I've heard, but from the band's entire catalog of music. Well worth the wait.
The line "Save deceits for the young girls" should actually read "Save the sweets for the young girls".
