I Miss You Lyrics
Imagine if we never lied
Imagine if we never tried
To be something we're not
We forgot how it feels
To be tight
To be close
To be real
And I miss you
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
You're caught up in your plastic life
Changing right before my eyes
A chameleon
I used to know you like the back of my mind
Did that part of you die
And I miss you
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
And I'm scared
Don't don't leave me alone
I'm home having nothing
Anyway anyway
Standin' on the corner in the pouring rain
Gotta find a drug that will keep me sane
Like you
I watch you from a distance
I remember all of those instances
When you smile
Whe you laugh
When you crash
When I'm there to catch you when you fall
And I miss you
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
(And I miss you)
Tell me that you're doing fine
(And I wish you were here)
I still remember every time
(I stopped breathing)
And everyone I know will say
(When you said you don't care anymore)
That you are always apart of me
And I miss you like you never knew
And I miss you like you never knew
Imagine if we never tried
To be something we're not
We forgot how it feels
To be tight
To be close
To be real
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
Changing right before my eyes
A chameleon
I used to know you like the back of my mind
Did that part of you die
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
Don't don't leave me alone
I'm home having nothing
Anyway anyway
Standin' on the corner in the pouring rain
Gotta find a drug that will keep me sane
Like you
I remember all of those instances
When you smile
Whe you laugh
When you crash
When I'm there to catch you when you fall
And I wish you were here
I stopped breathing
When you said you don't care anymore
(And I miss you)
Tell me that you're doing fine
(And I wish you were here)
I still remember every time
(I stopped breathing)
And everyone I know will say

I LOVE THIS SONG, why has no one posted on it?! It's amazing. :3
i think that its about his girlfriend [maybe an ex] that he used to be really close to was changing. "You're caught up in your plastic life Changing right before my eyes" And he misses how she used to be. i love this song :]
i love this song
deinately about an ex. reminds me of mine. she moved, or they just grew apart, and she's changed. he misses her, and even though he sees how fake she is now, he wishes things could go back to the way they were. but he's still there for her ("when you crash, when i'm there to catch you when you fall")
they were really close, and now it's the cliche "i feel like i lost part of myself when i lost you" situation. such a beautiful song <3
definately * :P
i do think this song was possibly about an ex. but it kinda hits home for me in a differnt way.
it reminds me alott about my first year of highschool. like all of my best friends who got into drugs and alchohal and of course sex.
You're caught up in your plastic life Changing right before my eyes A chameleon I used to know you like the back of my mind Did that part of you die
it seemed like here thy were doing all this and completly forgetting about they're real friends. and you see the person they are changin into and you just cant help but thinking "wheres the person i use to know so well?"
And I miss you And I wish you were here I stopped breathing When you said you don't care anymore
it seems like when i tried talking to some of my freinds about it they didnt care what i had to say. like here i am their best friend and they just completly blow off me caring about them....
so um yeahh thats what this song means to me [[:
This song really reminds me of the girl who used to be my best friend. We met on the first day of middle school, but didn't really get close until later on in the year. The summer before seventh grade, my sister and her boyfriend died in a car accident. I had breakdowns like everyday for a while. It got really bad at school and I'd have to leave class because I'd have anxiety attacks a lot. But she was there for me, helped me through it. But then, she startted changing. She's not the girl I became friends with. "Imagine if we never lied Imagine if we never tried To be something we're not We forgot how it feels To be tight To be close To be real" That really hits home... Now she's a scene wanna-be whore and I'm, well, me. We've both changed, but I don't know what happened to her. Now, she's only around when it's convenient for her. I care about her, a lot. "And I miss you And I wish you were here I stopped breathing When you said you don't care anymore" I miss the way we used to be. I wish we could go back and not have the crap we have now. But that's life.
"You're caught up in your plastic life Changing right before my eyes A chameleon I used to know you like the back of my mind Did that part of you die" Ha, this song describes every teens life perfectly.
