Burning Bridges Lyrics
Do you feel regret breathing down your neck?
Broken friendships in progress,
Do you ever wonder why your soul is in debt?
But use it to find your way through the dark.
And your sapphire eyes keep staring at the ground,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning all your bridges down.
Are you sending angels out or demons instead?
What goes around comes around,
How will you cross the lakes and rivers that surround you?
But use it to find your way through the dark.
And your sapphire eyes keep staring at the ground,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning all your bridges down.
You're burning all your bridges down,
With every kiss, that's on your list,
You're burning all your bridges down.
And your sapphire eyes keep staring at the ground,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning all your bridges down,
You're burning them down,
You're burning them down,
You're burning them down,
You're burning them down,
You're burning them down,
Burning them down,
Burning them down.

this is a really good song how come no-one has commented it! +looks sadly at the lyrics+ i dont know what they mean lol

I think the lyrics mean...uh...well, I think what's being said is that someone (with saphire colored eyes) basically did something...I dunno, regretfull I guess you could call it, and they keep doing it, and by doing this "bad thing" they are losing options in life...I dunno, I really don't, but nice try, eh?

Haha, I always thought this song was real straight-forward and self-explainitory, but maybe that's just because I can relate to it, haha.
But yeah, I think it's about someone who continues to ruin their relationships, whether with friends or actual relationships, therefore, they keep "burning their bridges down". And in the end, they're left with no one, because they've pushed everyone away and lost everyone they once had.

I took it as it's about a player, they go and sleep around, and their ex's hate them because I mean ya, and soon no one will like them. But a more general interpretation can be taken I guess.
