High Rise

I think, Danny once said it was inspired by a novel he read about some people that were living in a building and the floor they were inhabiting, described and corresponded to their social status. And they start fighting with each other at some point. It was something like that... My own interepretation is that the song is about Ladytron, the band itself. They wrote it for themselves, it's a sort of selfdescription that pocesses certain self-analysis but very indifferent to the whole status quo. It's also a kind of presentation of the band and that's why I think it's the 1st song from the album, not just because it's energetic and etc. I might be completely wrong tho'.
