this song is amazing, the way it progress... woah these guys have a fantastic way with words. it makes me think of memories, and how its so hard to hold onto everything no matter how hard we try. especially if your memory is as crap as mine
the whole concept of being an echo makes me sad . it makes me feel that what i do fades away after i do it
I prefer the more upbeat part of the song, because the beginning [your all gunna hate me for this] sounds exactly like You Are The Moon.

this song for me is about a couple who try to make it work but they keep arguing and the "echo" is the repeated arguments they will always have if they dont try to improve their relationship.
I think it's about a relationship where the man was the foundation who held them together, but she could never fully commit. They become lost in love with one another, allowing it to continue into this dismal constant of no progression. She can just never fully "sink" into the relationship and embrace it the way he does.
No matter how hard he tried, he could never hold on to her, as the memory of once was or what could have been slowly fades away like an echo. He's only heard of the love he's searching for and will never know what it's like as he begs for someone to take notice to be the love he desperately needs.
This song reminds me of my mother and how we butt heads all the time. I heard this after I ran away from home and I cried so hard because what we had had all been destroyed. :-(

Damn good song... Probably has to do with a bad relationship of some sort (gee could I be anymore vague?). Anyways this song is awesome and everyone who hear's it should comment and say the same thing.
