Because I know for a fact that the version on the cd has more lyrics to the beginning ang a bit throughout the song.

Its a great song nonetheless.

First off, I find the title of the song hilarious. Its from "The Catcher In The Rye". On the very first page as a matter of fact.

Its supposed to be the title of the collection of short stories Holden's brother writes.

Convienently titled, "The Secret Goldfish"

What more could you expect from a band that titles themselves from the school in the book?

Anyway, its a great song. With a lot of emotion you can feel.

I think it sort of portrays exactly how heartbreak is. You kind of never really get over it. At least, you probably don't if you truly loved this person.

Heartbreak goes on, because your either constantly thinking about them, or (if you have found someone else) you still sort of wonder to yourself about them.

General things like that.

Beautifuly written song with amazing lyrics.

In the song hes saying how he's lost someone he's loved. and he feels that hes living in the 'land of the lost' and there were some broken promises and lies in the relationship. and at night he can't sleep because all he's thinking about is her but he refuses to shed a tear for her because even if he loves her, he knows it was not meant to be. but he knows heartbreak will last forever but nothing does last forever.

This song kind of annoys me. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but the album version is kind of annoying. I like the acoustic version heaps better. One thing I do like about the album version is how Ten Rings fades into it.

i just bought the catcher in the rye today, it's really good i can't put it down. and that is saying something, because i'm extremely a.d.d. when it comes to reading.
