this song is so cute..lloyd dobbler sit eh main character in the film say anything...and at the end, he holds a boombox in the street to show that he loves the girl..and basucally this song is, i think, saying that he loves this girl, and hell be there for her no matter what

oh same, and i ge the same feeling when i listen to this as i do when i watch say anything, its such a nice song.
Ok let's just call the characters Jamia and Frank. Frank and Jamia are best friends, then Jamia gets a new boyfriend. Frank is disappointed that after being Jamia's best friend for years on end (let's say since they were five) she chose new guy over him. Basically all Frank is telling Jamia is that he'll still be there for her no matter what, but not in the way that Jamia may be thinking. He wants to confess his love for her, and does so by holding a boom box right outside her house, blaring some love song in the middle of the night (or day, I just think night sets the perfect scene though).
I love this song; it's mine and my friend's song. :)
