Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.

Respect the structure

Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.

Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)

Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.

This band has sooo many beautiful, perfect pop songs, but nothing touches this one, to me. It's otherworldly and just feels like distilled yearning. (What happened? Did he lose the girl? Was she ever his? Who knows?) Such a perfect, dreamy, cathartic song to listen to over and over and over as a tormented, love-sick teen... and what's this, Google? These guys are back? I have to check 'em out...

I used to be in love with an old BMW 3.0 si from 1972 and i was 19 and really did love that car - washed and polished it incessantly....this was my favourite song at that time - was pure love - these lyrics were just perfect - me and my love driving off to sea..... never have i ever got such purel feelings like that again. The car was a wreck rust bucket and died and that was that....devastation.
